  We drive 120 miles each way to get here. We got stuck behind a truck on the cap rock and had no signal to call and say we would be 9min late. They tried to refuse to see us at 9 minutes after and even got very ugly with us when we asked if we could please get seen. Even still the front lady named Kristian got very nasty put her hand up told shut me up mid sentence when I explained we were standing behind the couple in lane while they filled plot paper work. There is not one sign up in lobby about being 9 minutes late. The obvious reason this is a clinic that treats people in pain and it was very upsetting to see someone hurting get treated like a piece of dirt. I've been a BSN for 12 years and I stepped up and defended the lady I brought in and the doctor finally agreed to see her. But o how poorly they treated her after they had to see her. I understand it's a business and that is how they run it. But it's also a health facility and compassion and kindness is a very good foundation for any clinic to be ran. I would be understanding at 15- 30 minutes late but less than 10 is something I would hope could be understood and possibly fit in to a schedule. Even taking 9 minutes off the appointment time.
